The Sr. Finance Analyst role will support the manufacturing group and be responsible for providing in depth analysis through collecting, analyzing and control of plant related company costs. From an analytical perspective, success in this role will be determined by the ability to use historical trends and cost methodologies to identify, communicate and help implement data driven recommendations to improve business performance. You will have the analytical and abstract reasoning skills to synthesize complex and detailed data and information into meaningful insights.
Support month end closing and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to drive the business
Review plant entries and analyze monthly variances to meet business objectives
Assist plants in bridging periods, breaking out mix, price, usage and performance
Support leadership with analyses and modeling as needed to support target achievements
Maintain periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) reports of key cost drivers and operating metrics (performance, CPGH, etc.), identifying emerging risks, challenges and opportunities
Partner with the GL and FP&A to help bridge the COGM to COGS results
Develop and maintain cost models for business analysis

Network Efficency Deep Dives
Design, develop and maintain complex models to capture total financial impact of projects.
Manage relationships with other business partners to implement changes and drive projects.
Maintain the standard cost system – boms, routings, allocations, standards, reference tables, performance designs, etc
Support the forecasting and budgeting planning and analysis for the manufacturing network
Prepare monthly COGS/COGM forecasts based on regional demand using historical trends and plant data
Work with plant and manufacturing leadership to prepare annual budget for future fiscal years
Develop and upload into SAP new fiscal year standards based on annual budget proposal
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (MBA/CMA preferred)
4+ years of applicable analytical experience
SQL and Microsoft Access experience
Advanced Excel skills required
2+ years of cost accounting experience preferred
ERP experience (preferably SAP)
